01Our Approach

Not just beautiful spaces. Better ways to live.

We believe true luxury is rarely loud. It resides in the silent alignment of sightlines, the honest resonance of untreated stone, and the effortless way natural morning daylight washes over a plaster wall.

Founded on the synthesis of Scandinavian minimalism, Mediterranean warmth, and Indian artisanal heritage, Atelier No. 09 crafts private residences that reject transient trends in favor of quiet permanence.

The architecture begins with the site itself. Massive slabs of unfilled Roman travertine establish a grounded podium that seems to rise organically from the lakeside cliff.

We reject synthetic laminates and veneer illusions. Every surface we specify is raw, breathable, and designed to gather the quiet poetry of human touch over decades.

COPENHAGEN PRACTICE STUDIO · EST. 2019

Atelier No. 09 was formed as an antidote to disposable luxury. Operating at the intersection of architectural discipline and sensory comfort, our studio crafts a strictly limited collection of residential commissions each calendar year.

Our cross-cultural team coordinates closely between our design ateliers in Copenhagen, Milan, and New Delhi—uniting Nordic spatial clarity with Italian stone fabrication and centuries of Indian stone-carving mastery.
